Warts affect nearly everyone, and it is caused by human papillomaviruses (HPV). Some HPVs can infect mucous membranes, and others infect the skin.
Transmission of the viruses occurs through direct contact. It is also common for warts to be transmitted from one part of the body to another.
Warts disappear on their own 60%-70% of the time, and it usually takes 2 to 3 years.
Prevention: Avoid contact!!
Ringworms are caused by a group of fungi collectively called dermatophytes, and they cause many conditions:
Prevention: Keep susceptible skin areas dry.
This infection is relatively common and it can be caused by bacteria or viruses.
Most bacterial infections produce a milky discharge.
Viral infections usually produce a clear discharge.
It is very common for a patient to wake up with their eyelids stuck to each other by secretion that has solidified.
Usually, redness and eyelid swelling occurs, and in some cases there is also sensitivity to light.
Prevention: Hygiene- don't stick dirty finger in your eyes.
